Grigory Ivanovich Kulik was a military and political figure of the USSR, Hero of the Soviet Union (1940). Marshal of the Soviet Union (1940), he was repeatedly subjected to repressions, with a demotion to the rank of Major General and deprivation of the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, and eventually shot in 1950. In 1957, he was posthumously rehabilitated and restored to the military rank of Marshal of the Soviet Union and the title of Hero of the Soviet Union and to the rights to awards. Member of the Central Committee of the CPSU (b) in 1939-1942. Member of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the 1st convocation in 1937-1946. The monument of monumental art
