The "People's Avengers" stele was erected on the site of the first battle of the partisans with the Germans (December 1, 1941).The monument of partisan glory is a pedestal with a partisan with a hand machine gun. The five faces of the pedestal symbolize the five units comprising the core of Kovpak's partisan division - Putivlskyi, Glukhivskyi, Shalyginskyi, Krolevetskyi, and Konotopskyi.A monument of history entered into the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine under the category of national importance (protection number 180020-Н). Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated September 3, 2009 No. 928.
