The village was occupied on September 13, 1941. During the period of temporary occupation, a partisan unit under the command of O. Saburov operated in the area of the village. On June 26, 1942, Nazi punishers shot and tortured 20 civilians and burned 270 yards for actively helping the partisans. In 1980, at the entrance to the village, a reinforced concrete stele was installed, on which a board with an inscription was fixed.
