The village was occupied on September 6, 1941. A partisan unit under the command of O. Saburov operated in the area of the village. Residents baked bread for the partisans, treated the sick. For actively helping the partisans in October 1942, the village was burned by Nazi punishers, 55 civilians were shot. In 1980, a reinforced concrete stele was installed at the entrance to the village, on which a cast-iron memorial plaque with an inscription was fixed.
