The village was occupied by the Nazis on October 6, 1941. In October 1942, the village was burned down by punishers for actively helping the partisans of O. Saburov's unit. 50 residents were shot. In 1980, a reinforced concrete slab was installed at the entrance to the village, on which a memorial plaque with an inscription was fixed.
