In August 1942, the village was burned down by Nazi punishers for active assistance to the partisans of S. Kovpak's association. 53 villagers were shot. In March 1942, S. Kovpak's unit arrived in the Bryansk Forest region and occupied the villages of Golubivka, Krasichka, Velyka Berizka, Kh. Lukashenko. A self-defense unit with 200 members was created in the village. From May 1942, the Nazis carried out a massive offensive on the areas occupied by partisans and self-defense units with the aim of destroying settlements adjacent to the forest in order to deprive the partisans of material assistance from the local population. In 1978, at the entrance to the village, a reinforced concrete stele was installed, on which a board with an inscription was fixed.
