In 1942, the partisan unit of S. Kovpak and the partisan unit named after Voroshilov under the command of I. Gudzenka. The village changed hands several times. On July 3, 1942, the partisans defeated the occupiers' garrison located in the village, captured an enemy convoy with equipment. Most of the villagers joined the partisan unit. On August 15, 1942, the Nazis took possession of the village. For actively helping the partisans, the village was burned down, 87 residents were shot. In 1980, a reinforced concrete slab with an inscription on a memorial board was installed near the entrance to the village.
