The village was occupied by fascists on August 20, 1941. In June 1942, for helping the partisans of the detachment named after Shchorsa (commander - M. Taratuta), the village was burned by Nazi punishers, 124 villagers were killed. In 1978, a metal stele with an inscription was installed at the entrance to the village.
