In 1942 - 43, the partisan unit of S. Kovpak and the 2nd partisan unit under the command of I. Sen operated in the area of the village of Nova Sparta. On March 5, 1943, the farm was burned by the Nazi invaders for actively helping the partisans. 87 civilians were shot. In 1980, a reinforced concrete slab with an inscription on a memorial board was installed near the entrance to the farm.
