The village was occupied by the Nazis on October 2, 1941. During the occupation period of 194-43, the partisan unit of S. Kovpak, the detachment "For the Motherland!" operated in the area of the village. (commander I. Fedorov) and the 2nd Seredino-Buda partisan unit under the command of I. Senya. For active assistance to the partisans on September 5, 1943 p. The mine was burned by the occupiers. 25 residents were shot. In 1980, at the entrance to the village, a concrete slab was installed, on which a board with an inscription was fixed.
