On October 5, 1942, the partisan unit of S. Kovpak carried out a successful combat operation to destroy a detachment of Nazi punishers in the area of the villages of Golubivka, Velyka Berizka, and the Lukashenkivskyi farm. During the operation, the headquarters of the enemy battalion was destroyed, about 500 enemy soldiers and officers were destroyed, 5 warehouses of weapons, food, uniform. In 1971, in honor of the successfully conducted operation, a reinforced concrete stele with an inscription was erected at the place where fierce battles took place.
