Here, on December 23, 1941, a sabotage group from the partisan unit "For the Motherland!" under the command of S. Hnybida, in the composition of Krasnyak, Makarenko, Weger, Lytvynenko, Malaev, Rudnytskyi, Pastushenko, Ruban, Skopov, Uzbolets blew up the railway bridge between Yampol and Khutor-Mykhailivskyi. This was the first combat operation of the partisan unit "For the Motherland!", created from local residents and Soviet soldiers who did not have time to retreat. On the day of the founding of the detachment "For the Motherland!" it is considered a sabotage on the railway bridge over Ivotka on the Nepliueve - Yampil section.
