About 3,000 civilians shot by the Nazis during the years of temporary occupation from September 9, 1941 to September 6, 1943 were buried. Among the buried are Komsomol members M. Zubko, A. Zubko, O. Kyrdan, A. Klymenko, O. Tarasenko and pioneer M. Hlushchenko, who maintained contact with the Konotop partisan unit "Death to Fascism!". In 1957, a concrete obelisk in the form of a trapezoid was installed on the grave. A metal memorial plaque with an inscription is fixed on a rectangular pedestal.
