257 residents of Konotop of Jewish nationality, shot by German-Nazi invaders during the temporary occupation of the city from September 9, 1941 to September 6, 1943, are buried. The names of the dead are unknown. In 1948, a brick stele and two granite monuments in the form of felled trees with inscriptions were installed on the grave. A metal plaque with a memorial inscription is attached to the ceiling.
