The last 32 years of David Guramishvili’s life were associated with Ukraine, Myrhorod. Here he married Tetyana Vasylivna Avalova, but they had no children.
The Myrhorod period of the poet's life is the most fruitful for his work. Here he creates an autobiographical book of poems "Davitiani" - the immortal creation of a poet, humanist, patriot, and philosopher. The collection consists of two poems - "Misfortunes of Georgia", "Happy Spring", and a dozen of lyrical and philosophical poems.
