The bust was installed on the territory of the “Testament” museum of T.G. Shevchenko in Pereyaslav in the former mansion of doctor A. Kozachkovsky, where Shevchenko was staying and receiving treatment from October 1845 to January 1846. Here, on the night of December 24-25, 1845, the poet wrote his “Testament”.
