Alekseev Andriy Korniyovych (November 11, 1920, Loknya village - 1944, Dubiivka village, Cherkasy district, Cherkasy region) - guard captain, Hero of the Soviet Union (February 22, 1944). Awarded the Order of Lenin, the Red Banner. He was buried in a mass grave in the village of Dubiivka, Cherkasy district, Cherkasy region. In the village Dubiivka, a street is named after him. In 1967, a monument was erected in the Hero's homeland: a reinforced concrete bust on a brick pedestal lined with marble slabs. There is an inscription on the front side of the pedestal.
