A 24-meter high obelisk was erected in Trypillia to commemorate the fallen participants of the Tripoli campaign. During the occupation of Ukraine, German troops destroyed the monument. In 1956, a new 26-meter-high red granite obelisk with a five-pointed star in a wreath was erected on the same site.
