Semyon Vasylyovych Rudnev [1899, Moysiivka village, near the village of Beryukha (now the village of Rudnevo) Putivl district, Sumy region. - 1942, Yaremcha, Ivan-Frankivsk region] - Hero of the Soviet Union (January 4, 1944, posthumously), Major General. Awarded the Orders of Lenin, Red Banner, Red Star, "Badge of Honor", medals Monuments to Rudnev have been erected in Putivla and in his native village. The sculpture is made of plaster and covered with copper, on a concrete base and a reinforced concrete pedestal in the form of two massive slabs stacked on top of each other in the shape of the letter T.
