From September 12 to October 18, 1941, S. Rudnev's partisan unit was stationed here. On October 15, 1941, the partisan detachment of S. Rudnev, consisting of 21 people, set off in the direction of the Spadshchansky Forest, where the detachment of S. Kovpak was stationed. On October 18, 1941, the units were united. In 1971, a reinforced concrete stele with a memorial inscription on its front side was installed in the city where S. Rudnev's partisan unit was deployed.
