Volodymyr Vasyliovych Trofimov (1925, village of Uhroidy, Krasnopil District - January 19, 1944, village of Batovo, Nevelsky District, Pskov Region, Russian Federation) - Hero of the Soviet Union Union (06.4.1944). A granite bust on a four-sided pedestal was installed in the Hero's homeland. The four-sided pedestal, plastered "under a fur coat", has a plinth projection at the bottom. Installed on a two-step stereobat, in each step of which, in the center, in front of the monument, two more steps are cut. The upper step of the stereobat is much narrower and slightly higher than the lower one. The inscription is located in the upper part of the pedestal on a rectangular counter-relief. The square shape of the site with lawns around the perimeter and a straight line of bushes corresponds to the strict symmetrical general composition of the monument.
