In the Uzdytsky forest, Negrebovshchyna tract, at the place of formation of the Shalyginsky partisan detachment. Created in August 1941 Shalyginsky partisan unit under the command A. Saganyuka (Commissar - F. Matyushenko, Chief of Staff - V. Strogan), with the beginning of the occupation of Shalyginsky District, gathered at the base in the Uzdytsky Forest. This is where his fighting journey began. In February 1942, the Shalygin partisan unit became part of the Sumy partisan unit under the command of S. Kovpak. In 1966, a reinforced concrete rectangular pylon with two metal plates attached to its front side was installed at the place where the Shalyginsky partisan detachment was formed.
