Kyrylo Hryhorovych Stetsenko is an outstanding Ukrainian composer of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He lived the last two years of his life in a house in the village of Vepryk. In 1922, K. Stetsenko died of typhus and was buried near the church of St. Paraskeva. The grave has been preserved to this day. Stetsenko served as a priest in Veprik. Under his leadership, a folk children's and village choir was created.
