The monument to the legendary commander was erected in one of the city's most picturesque districts,
on a large hill.The front side of the monument faces the meadow plain in the floodplain of the Sejm River.
Seim River. The cast-iron sculpture of S. Kovpak is mounted on a high pedestal made of rubble
stone and reinforced concrete. The pedestal imitates a cone-shaped rock with protruding stones in some places.
