On 18 September 1943, units of the 50th Guards Rifle Division under the command of Colonel A. S. Vladychevskyi, which was part of the Southern Front, expelled the Nazi invaders from the village of Andriivske. A field hospital was organised in the village of Andriivske. Soviet soldiers who died of wounds and died during the expulsion of the occupiers were buried in a mass grave in the centre of the village.
In 1958, an obelisk was erected on the grave and a memorial plaque with the names of the deceased was attached.
In 1980, a memorial stele with the names of the fallen soldiers from the village and a memorial plaque with the names of the soldiers buried in the mass grave were installed.
