The Gogol couple is buried on the territory of the Gogol-Yanovsky manor at the cemetery of the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin. At the end of the 19th century, the writer’s nephew V.Y. Holovnia placed a cross over the graves. In 1953, the burial was arranged, in 1983, a new bronze cross with a crucifix was installed.
