Order of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine dated 25.02.2020 No. 1062 The granite pedestal depicts a sculptural group: one sailor in full growth, with a rifle in his hand, and the other behind a machine gun. There is a memorial plaque with the words: "In memory of the brave sailors who fell during the civil war for the power of the Soviets, 1918-1919." 2016, February. The executive committee held a meeting of the commission on renaming objects of city subordination, perpetuating the memory of prominent figures and events, and decided to remove the plaque and not to touch the monument itself, as it is a cultural heritage site. In December, they demanded that the regional council's decision of 1982, which refers to the list of cultural heritage sites, be canceled. The list includes a monument to the sailors of the Dnipro Flotilla. Deputy Pavlenko initiates the removal of this monument from the list so that it can be dismantled.
