On the front side of the pedestal there is an inscription in pre-reform Russian: "Compatriots are grateful to Prince Mykhailo Semenovich Vorontsov. 1863." On the reverse: "To the Governor-General of the Novorossiysk Territory and Bessarabia 1823-1854.", on the other sides there are bas-relief images of the Battle of Kraon[en] and the capture of Varna[en] with the inscriptions "Kraon 1814." and "Varna 1828." [1]
