Monument of monumental art Order dated 20.06.2008 No. 728/0/16-08 224-Od The first and only monument to the creator of the Esperanto language in Ukraine. The sculptor received an order to create a bust from Poland, but for unknown reasons, the customers did not come for the monument. Eventually, the bust was installed over a local well. One of the reasons for choosing the place was to warn children against excessive and dangerous curiosity about his mine. During the Second World War, during the occupation of the city, the bust was hidden in the basement of building No. 3, considering it to be Lenin's bust. After the war, local residents installed it in the previous place. The monument is visited by foreign Esperanto delegations every year, the yard is included in local tourist routes.
