The mass grave of the participants of the Haydamac uprising "Koliivshchyna" is a historical monument of 1768, located in the village of Kodnya, Zhytomyr district. A grave in the form of a mound on which a granite block is installed. On the front polished part is engraved the inscription: "Eternal glory to the people's fighters of Koliivshchyna 1768-1968". "Koliivshchyna" is a great national liberation anti-feudal uprising of 1768 in Right Bank Ukraine against Polish-noble oppression. The peasants of Kodnya were active participants in the people's liberation uprising. That is why it became the site of a bloody massacre of the participants of the heroic struggle: 3 thousand people were executed. On June 28, 1968, in honor of the 200th anniversary of the uprising of Ukrainian Cossacks and peasants against the Polish nobility, a monument made by the Zhytomyr Art Workshops was erected
