The monument to the outstanding Ukrainian poet Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko in the city of Halych was installed on Volya Square and entered into the register of immovable monuments of Ukraine (Order of the MKT dated 13.07.2009 No. 521/0/16-09, security No. 18-IF). The sculpture conveys the state of mind of the poet as a great thinker of the Ukrainian people.
