In a small rock garden park on the steep slope of Zhupanatska Square in Uzhhorod, one can see a unique monument - two bronze figures sitting peacefully on a bench, seemingly talking about something. This sculpture immortalizes the famous artists of the region, the founders of the Transcarpathian school of painting Yosyp Bokshai and Adalbert Erdeli. The monument was unveiled in 1999 on the Day of the City of Uzhhorod. Vandals damaged the monument, so it had to be restored. But this did not prevent the memory of the great artists from being preserved.
