On August 15, 1942, about 500 Jews from the local ghetto, including Jewish families from neighboring villages, were shot in a field outside Kysilyn. They were buried in a pit specially dug for this purpose. After the war, the mass burial was forgotten. Its territory was used in agriculture and was more and more flattened. After determining the location of the mass burial by means of non-invasive methods of soil research, in 2014, a memorial site was established here. The memorial was inaugurated in 2015
