Oleksiy Mykhailovych Voropaev - a pilot-navigator who died during defensive battles for the village on September 15, 1941. The pilot was buried at the place of his death. In 1944, the remains of the deceased were moved to the center of the village. In the same year, a brick cemented obelisk was installed on the grave. In 1975, a marble slab in the shape of an airplane wing was installed near the grave, into which a ceramic photo of the deceased and a board with an inscription were mounted.
