Kuzmenko Ivan Andriyovych - the second secretary of the Glynsky RK of the CP /b/U. He was left to organize underground work behind enemy lines together with a group of 13 communists. The group broke up without starting underground activities, and I. Kuzmenko was forced to hide in the forest. In the spring of 1942, he fell ill and died in the summer. He was first buried in the forest, and after the liberation of the area from the Nazi invaders, his remains were moved to the center of the village. In 1948, a brick cemented obelisk was installed on the grave, on the front side of which there is an inscription.
