The Alley of Heroes features busts of ten Kovpak partisans who were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. For courage and heroism displayed in battles against the Nazi invaders, the partisans of the Sumy Association and their commanders were awarded the high title of Hero of the Soviet Union. of the Soviet Union, and the unit's commander, S. Kovpak, was awarded this title twice. The alley consists of 10 bronze busts of partisans - Heroes of the Soviet Union, installed on cylindrical reinforced concrete pedestals to the right of the entrance, emphasized by two staircases. The general similarity of the monuments' designs (material, dimensions, shape of the pedestals, busts turned by % to the right), the authors managed to to convey the individual features of a particular hero using a variety of artistic means. On the front sides of the pedestals there are annotations made in overlaid letters made of white metal. Near each monument there are marble slabs for laying flowers. The forest, which approaches the alley directly, repeats the solemn sound of the memorial with a powerful chord. of the memorial.
