20 partisans of S. Kovpak's unit, who died on October 5, 1942 during the battle to eliminate the occupiers' battalion, were buried. The names of all the dead are known. Among the buried - I. Zamula - company commander and P. Rud - political engineer of the company, partisan poet.
In 1961, a brick obelisk with memorial inscriptions was installed on the grave.
