8 Soviet soldiers were buried. Among them are soldiers who died in defensive battles for the village in September - October 1941, when the village was in the war zone, and soldiers who died on September 1, 1943, during the liberation of the village from the Nazi invaders. Surnames of 7 soldiers are unknown. In 1961, the remains of the dead from different places were transferred to a mass grave, on which in the same year a reinforced concrete sculpture of a warrior with an inscription on the front side of a brick pedestal was installed.
