Five Soviet soldiers were buried. One soldier died in the battle for the liberation of the village from the occupiers on September 2, 1943, the rest died of wounds in the hospital stationed here on September 6 1943. The names of all the dead are known. In 1957, the remains of the dead from different places were transferred to a mass grave in the center of the village. In the same year, a reinforced concrete sculpture of a warrior with a memorial inscription on a brick pedestal was installed on the grave.
