The mass graves in Putivl are an important element of memorial culture, which was established there to honor and pay tribute to local heroes who gave their lives defending their country during the Great Patriotic War. A monument of history entered in the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine under the category of local importance (protection no. 4115-Sm). Order No. 630 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs dated February 10, 2020.
