Vasyl Tumanskyi is a poet of the Pushkin era, our compatriot, a very broad person for his time. He published his first poem ("Field of the Battle of Borodino") at the age of 17. 1828 Vasyl Tumanskyi served under the Head of Divans of Moldavia and Wallachia, Count Fyodor Palen, on a diplomatic line. He participated in the drafting of the terms of the Adrianople Peace Treaty, served as the secretary of the embassy in Constantinople. And later — as an assistant to the state secretary of the State Council. He devotes all his free time to creativity. 1846 Vasyl Tumanskyi retires as an active state adviser. He settles in Ukraine in the ancestral estate of Panasivka.
