A young partisan of S. Kovpak's unit named Tanya, who died on July 17, 1942 during the passage of partisan units to the Bryansk Forest after the completion of a two-month summer raid in the northern regions of Sumy region, is buried. Buried at the site of the battle.
In 2007, the obelisk installed in 1946 was replaced by an oak obelisk of a pyramidal shape with a star on top. In the center is a board with an inscription.
