Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko (1814 - 61) - poet, novelist, great thinker, symbol of the Ukrainian nation. The frontally oriented reinforced concrete bust with the head turned to the right, with an asymmetric shoulder cut, is mounted on a vertical, rectangular in plan, white reinforced concrete plastered pedestal, on the front side of which is engraved the dedicatory inscription "To Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko from the inhabitants of the village of Andriivka", framed by Ukrainian ornament.
