Here, in the defensive battles for the village on September 22, 1941, a Soviet tank "T-34" of the first tank brigade of the 40th Army was knocked out. Four tankers who died in the battle with the Nazi invaders were buried at the place of their death. In 1943, the remains of the victims were reburied in a mass grave in the center of the village. Surnames of the dead
famous. The inhabitants of the village preserved the tower of the tank, which was installed on a pedestal after the liberation. In 1970, a reinforced concrete obelisk was installed at the place of death of the tank crew adjacent to which is a brick pedestal with a metal tower of a knocked-out tank. There are memorial inscriptions on the front side of the obelisk and the pedestal.
