42 soldiers who died on August 7-8, 1943 were buried. The village was liberated on August 8, 1943. The names of all the dead are known. In 1958, the remains of the dead from different places were transferred to a mass grave, on which in the same year a reinforced concrete sculpture of a soldier on a brick pedestal and three concrete slabs with an inscription and the names of the fallen soldiers were installed. On the front side of the pedestal there is a board with an inscription. In 1969, on both sides of the mass grave, 12 boards with the names of 323 compatriot soldiers who died during the Second World War and two boards with a memorial text and a bas-relief image of battle episodes were installed on concrete bases. Among the fallen soldiers-compatriots - Khytsenko Ivan Ivanovich - Hero of the Soviet Union (July 29, 1945). On January 15, 1945, I. Khitsenko died in a battle with ten enemy heavy tanks.
