144 Soviet soldiers who died during the first attempt to liberate the village in March 1943 and soldiers who died in the battles for the liberation of the village from the German-Nazi invaders on August 5, 1943 are buried. The names of all the dead are known. In 1967, the remains of the dead from different places were transferred to a mass grave. In the same year, a reinforced concrete sculpture of a warrior was installed on the grave, replaced in 1987 with an aluminum one with an inscription on the front side of the reinforced concrete pedestal. In the same year, concrete boards with the names of 196 compatriot soldiers who died on the fronts of World War II were installed on both sides of the grave on concrete bases.
