142 Soviet soldiers who died on March 3, 1943 during the first attempt to liberate the village from German-Nazi invaders are buried; who died in battles for the village in August 1943 and soldiers who died of wounds in the period from August 12 to August 28, 1943. The names of all the dead are known. In 1966, the remains of fallen soldiers from the villages of Hnilytsia and Barylivka were reburied in a mass grave. In 1965, a reinforced concrete sculpture of a warrior was installed on the grave. There is an inscription on the front side of the brick plastered pedestal. A concrete slab with the names of 51 fallen soldiers is installed on the grave.
In the same year, concrete slabs were installed on both sides of the sculpture with an inscription and the names of 235 compatriot soldiers who died on the fronts of the Second World War.
