110 soldiers who died during the liberation of the village from German-Nazi invaders in February - March 1943 and died of wounds in the hospitals stationed here from March to August 1943 are buried. The names of 77 dead are known. In 1952, the remains of the dead from different places were transferred to a mass grave. In 1958, a reinforced concrete sculpture of a warrior was installed on the grave. In 1982, reconstruction was carried out: a new reinforced concrete sculpture of a warrior on a brick pedestal and a concrete pylon were installed. Behind the sculpture of the warrior is a concrete stele with an inscription and the names of 173 compatriot soldiers who died on the fronts of the Second World War. Among the fallen soldiers-compatriots S. Komandant and I. Marchenko - Heroes of the Soviet Union. Commandant Serhii Pavlovich distinguished himself in January - February 1940 during a successful reconnaissance of the enemy's defenses. On February 25, 1940, during the offensive, he engaged in hand-to-hand combat, killed several enemy soldiers, was wounded, but did not leave the battle. He was a participant in World War II. Died in battle. Awarded the Order of Lenin, the Red Star. Until June 1944, Marchenko Ivan Tymofiyovych flew 417 sorties to cover convoys, reconnaissance and attack aircraft of the enemy. Detected 15 enemy convoys. He shot down 6 enemy planes in dogfights. In 1947, he graduated from the Higher Officer Course of the Air Force of the Navy. Awarded the Order of Lenin, two orders of the Red Banner, the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st century, medals. Major I. Marchenko died in the line of duty.
