39 soldiers who died during the liberation of the village from German-Nazi invaders in February - March 1943 and died of wounds in the hospitals stationed here between March and August 1943 are buried. The names of 28 soldiers are known. In 1952, the remains of the dead from different places were transferred to a mass grave, on which a reinforced concrete sculpture of a warrior was installed in the same year. There is an inscription on the front side of the brick pedestal. In 1972, a stele was installed to the right of the grave with the names of 223 compatriot soldiers who died during the Civil War and the Second World War. Among the fallen soldiers-compatriots Zmysly Mykhailo Fedorovych - Hero of the Soviet Union (May 23, 1945, posthumously). The company led by him quickly broke into the enemy's trenches and captured the stronghold. Developing success, the company without preparation started street battles outside the city, repelled a number of counterattacks by enemy infantry and tanks. Died in hand-to-hand combat.
