5 participants of the civil war, shot by Denikinians in August 1919, are buried. The names of all the dead are known. In the same grave are buried 299 Soviet soldiers who died in the battles for the liberation of the village from the German-Nazi invaders in March - August 1943 and died of wounds in the hospital. The village was liberated on August 8, 1943. The names of all the buried soldiers are known.
Oleksiy Mykolayovych Kalinin is a hero among the buried
of the Soviet Union (January 10, 1944, posthumously). In the battle near Volkov's farm, he closed the embrasure of the dzot with his body. In 1967, the remains of the dead from different places were transferred to a mass grave, on which
a reinforced concrete sculpture of a warrior and a pylon were installed.
On the right and left sides in front of the sculpture of the warrior, there are stelae with the names of the participants in the civil war and inscriptions. Boards with the names of fallen Soviet soldiers and an inscription are attached to the inclined base. In 1970, on both sides of the mass grave, boards with
with the names of 678 compatriot soldiers who died on the fronts of the Second World War, an inscription and a bas-relief image of the Orders of Victory, the Patriotic War and the grieving mother.
